He has the feeling that he has to dominate and control even subdue it. he believes that in order to reach his goals, he has to fight and to have the upper hand by controlling others. It is absolutely natural for him to encounter resistance; he then picks up the gauntlet and demonstrates his power. Red individuals are happy, if they can have their way.  They enjoy challenges, adventures and excitement.  They see life as a competition that they want to win.  For Reds, success, achievement and triumph are the most important values. For these, he is capable of making huge efforts. They seek  and find the tasks that need to be done, they like determining what to work on; they need no nudging. They insightfully realise straight away what the basic criteria are and can see the wider context too. Power is vital to them and they are mostly ambitious. They take risks to accomplish their goals.  They are not afraid of conflicts; in fact, they often generate them. They speak in a concise and direct manner, straight to the point.  Their behaviour is characterised by dynamism, decisiveness and orientation towards success.

Their sense of competition is so  strong that they cannot cooperate with others well.  They often re-interpret assigned tasks and want to solve problems that they are not expected  or authorised to solve. Even though they like competition, what they really want is victory, so they can hardly tolerate, if others prove stronger or better. These situations can make them frustrated and are not handled well by them.
